I bought this watch for my wife as a replacement for one I bought her just over a year ago - which unfortunately was lost. The original watch was the same model number bought through Amazon and we had to have 2 links removed for the strap to fit comfortably. When this watch arrived the strap was too tight - it need 2 links added. Unfortunately we could not find the 2 links from the original watch and so we had to send it back to the supplier - who dealt with the refund very well.
Not sure why the strap was shorter in the new watch - maybe because of the increase in the price of gold?
